Laboratory Technician

Job Description

We are Sisco Jobs, a recruitment consultancy based in Trichy, Tamil Nadu. We are hiring on behalf of our client for the position of Laboratory Technician in Dubai, UAE. Key Responsibilities

• Perform biological, hematological, chemical, and physical laboratory analyses.
  
• Conduct bacteriological and serological testing on clinical specimens.
  
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers.
  
• Prepare reagents, media, and laboratory solutions with high accuracy.
  
• Perform microscopic examinations and slide preparation.
  
• Collect and process blood, urine, sputum, tissue, and other clinical samples.
  
• Ensure compliance with ISO 15189:2022, JCI, EIAC, DHA, DOH, and MOH standards.
  
• Participate in quality control, quality improvement initiatives, and laboratory audits.
  

Required Skills

1. Clinical Laboratory Testing – Accurate execution of diagnostic laboratory procedures.
   
2. Hematology Analysis – Blood counts, differential counts, and related testing.
   
3. Biochemistry Testing – Liver, renal, thyroid, cardiac, and glucose analysis.
   
4. Quality Control & Compliance – Adherence to laboratory quality standards.
   
5. Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) – Documentation and data management.
   

Preferred Skills

• Chromatography and Electrophoresis techniques.
  
• Immunoassay analyzer operation.
  
• Laboratory accreditation and audit exposure.
  

Work Experience Requirements

Experience in clinical diagnostic laboratories, hospitals, or pathology laboratories is preferred. Candidates should have hands -on exposure to laboratory instruments, specimen processing, quality control procedures, and compliance with healthcare laboratory standards. Typical experience range: 2–5 years.

Education

• Minimum: B.Sc. Medical Laboratory Technology / Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent (Typical)
  
• Preferred: Postgraduate qualification in Laboratory Sciences
  
• Additional Certifications: Laboratory Quality Management / ISO -related certifications
