LAND SURVEYOR

Job Summary:

KN International is seeking an experienced Land Surveyor to support construction projects across Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role involves conducting land and construction surveys to determine accurate positions, levels, boundaries, and dimensions required for project execution. The ideal candidate will ensure all survey works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and UAE authority standards.

The Surveyor will play a key role in setting out works, verifying site conditions, and supporting construction teams with accurate survey data for civil and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct land and construction surveys to determine precise locations, elevations, lines, areas, and contours for construction activities.
  
• Carry out setting-out works for buildings, roads, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
  
• Operate and manage surveying instruments including total station, GPS, level machines, and data collectors.
  
• Establish and verify site control points, benchmarks, and reference grids.
  
• Review and verify survey data including distances, angles, coordinates, and elevations.
  
• Perform topographic, boundary, and as-built surveys as required by the project.
  
• Prepare survey reports, sketches, and as-built drawings for documentation and submission.
  
• Maintain accurate records of all survey activities and ensure data integrity.
  
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and contractors to resolve survey-related issues.
  
• Ensure all survey works comply with UAE construction standards and approved project drawings.
  
• Verify site levels and coordinates prior to and during construction activities.
  
• Assist in resolving discrepancies between design drawings and actual site conditions.
  
• Support QA/QC and construction teams in maintaining accuracy of site execution.
  

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or equivalent.
  
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in construction projects.
  
• Strong experience in UAE construction projects is highly preferred.
  
• Proficiency in total station, GPS equipment, leveling instruments, and survey software.
  
• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD and survey data processing tools.
  
• Good understanding of UAE construction standards and site procedures.
  
• Ability to interpret drawings, coordinates, and technical specifications accurately.
  
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  
• Ability to work independently and in coordination with site teams.
