Job Description - Land Surveyor

BSc. Surveying graduate oracceptable diploma in surveying
Minimum of (5)year of experience in land surveying and setting out for similarworks (bachelor's degree) or (10) years of experience inland surveying and setting out of similar works (Diplomaholder).
Knowledge of surveying procedures andinstruments, engineering formulas.
Knowledge ofdrafting, arithmetic, geometry, calculus and engineering formulas,CADD drawings and maps.
Experience in theconstruction of roads, infrastructure and landscaping projects atdomestic and/or foreign locations ispreferred.
Requires a comprehensive knowledgeof engineering and construction-related processes, as well asindustry practices.
Also requires excellentwritten and oral communication skills, a familiarity with CAD andother PC software packages typically associated with engineeringand construction, and the proven ability for performing in a leadcapacity on a project.
Keeps accurate notes,records, and sketches to describe and certify work performed.Coordinates findings with work of engineering and architecturalpersonnel, clients, and others concerned withproject.
