Lead/Senior Hardware QA Engineer

• Testing of complex robotic devices (including mechanical and electronic components and interaction between them)
• Performing tests of the system as a whole (integration, E2E)
• Validation of devices' embedded software (firmwares)
• Definition and collection of quality metrics
• Development of testing strategy and common test methods
• Design and document tests in TMS
• Design and development new test stands, support existing
• Test automation with python (in perspective)
• Mentoring new team members (in perspective)

Requirements

• Experience with testing mechanical and electronic devices (robotics is welcome)
• Experience with testing embedded software (you understand what firmware is and how it interacts with hardware)
• Understanding of elementary physics and mechanical principles
• Understanding of commonly used communication interfaces (Ethernet, CAN, UART)
• Experience with any sort of lab equipment (power suppliers, multimeter, oscilloscope, electronic load)
• Basic understanding of any programming language (Python preferable)
• Experience with version control systems (any of Git, SVN, Perforce)
• Basic understanding of CI/CD processes
• Experience with embedded software based on Linux
• Experience with testing of EoT devices
• Advanced knowledge of electrical principles (read circuits diagrams)
• Experience with soldering (at least wires or TH PCBs)
• Knowledge of the Python programming language (experience in development from scratch or support existing tests)
