About the Role:

An exclusive Family Office in Dubai is seeking a highly skilled Legal, Wealth & Tax Counsel to manage the legal, wealth management & planning, and tax structuring aspects of the office. This role requires an expert in private wealth law, trusts, estate structuring, and cross-border wealth management , with a deep understanding of HNW/UHNW client needs. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing legal matters, ensuring wealth protection strategies, and optimizing tax-efficient structures while working closely with external advisors and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee all legal, compliance, and regulatory aspects of the Family Office.
Advise on wealth planning, structuring, and management strategies for UHNWI assets.
Handle trust and estate planning, including asset protection, foundations, and succession structuring.
Draft, review, and negotiate legal agreements related to private wealth, investments, and corporate structures.
Ensure compliance with cross-border regulations, wealth management best practices, and international tax laws.
Manage offshore entities, fiduciary structures, and tax-efficient planning for the familys global assets.
Liaise with international law firms, tax consultants, and financial institutions to ensure optimal legal and financial strategies.
Provide legal guidance on investments, M&A transactions, and risk management.
Stay updated on evolving global tax, wealth management, and asset protection regulations affecting UHNWI clients.

Required Experience:

Minimum 2 years of experience in a Family Office, Private Bank, Fiduciary Firm, Wealth Management firm, or Private Client Law Firm.
Expertise in trusts, wealth structuring, asset protection, succession planning, foundations, and cross-border estate planning.
Strong legal background with a specialization in Private Wealth Law.
Ideally, knowledge of international taxation

Education & Certifications:

Law degree (LL.B. / LL.M. / J.D.).
Legal qualification in a jurisdiction with a strong tradition in wealth law
STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) diploma is highly valued.
LL.M. in International Taxation, Wealth Law, or Trusts is a plus.
