Description The Logistic Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing the entire supply chain process, from procurement to delivery. They will be responsible for optimizing warehouse operations, managing inventory, and coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth logistics operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Construction Chemicals warehouse, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
Implement efficient inventory management systems to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with procurement and sales teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of goods.
Develop and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and transportation partners to negotiate favorable terms and ensure timely deliveries.
Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process optimizations.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures, within the warehouse environment.
Supervise and train warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient and safe operations.
Handle customer inquiries and complaints related to logistics and distribution, ensuring prompt and satisfactory resolutions.
Collaborate with the sales team to provide accurate and timely information on product availability and delivery schedules.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in logistics and supply chain management.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the construction chemicals industry.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and distribution processes.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Proficiency in using logistics software and systems for inventory management and tracking.
Good understanding of health and safety regulations within a warehouse environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
