The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, planning, and strategy of the organisation. The manager will possess strong analytical skills, exceptional leadership qualities, and a thorough understanding of financial management within the UAE market. Reporting to the HR & Operations Director, the finance manager will play a critical role in helping the company and its departments achieve its strategic profit objectives along with smooth functioning of the department as a whole.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
To be successful, the incumbent must effectively manage the financial operations of an organisation within the economic and regulatory environment of Dubai and the UK. They are characterised by their ability to blend strategic thinking with meticulous financial planning and analysis, ensuring the company's financial health and growth. Other accountabilities include, but are not limited to: Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop and implement financial strategies and plans to support the company's objectives.
Conduct detailed financial analysis and provide insights to senior management.
Prepare and present financial forecasts, budgets, and reports.
Accounting and Compliance
Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with local and British accounting standards.
Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Manage internal and external audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Cash Flow Management
Monitor cash flow and banking activities.
Develop strategies to optimise cash flow and manage financial risks.
Ensure effective management of working capital.
Strategic Support
Collaborate with senior management to drive financial performance and support strategic initiatives.
Provide financial insights and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
Assist in the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities and business ventures. Cost Control and Efficiency
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Implement financial controls and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.
Requirements REQUIRED COMPETENCIES Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; a Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, ACCA) is preferred. Minimum of 4-6 years of experience in financial management, preferably within the UAE. Strong knowledge of local financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities. Proficient in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Benefits 10,000 - 15,000 AED basic per month ($2,722 - $4,083 approx).
