Manager - Accounts Receivable & Cash Management (UAE Nationals)

Job Purpose

Ports, Customs & Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) is looking for talented Emirati professionals who are seeking two new opportunities in the Finance Department: Manager Accounts Receivables and Cash Management, Manager Accounts Payable and Fixed Assets.

Manager – Accounts Receivables and Cash Management

Key Accountabilities

Accounts Receivables:

• Oversee the entire Accounts Receivable function, managing a team responsible for accurate and timely invoicing, collections, and application of payments.
• Develop and implement effective credit and collection strategies to optimize cash flow and minimize bad debt risk.
• Collaborate with BU and customer service teams to resolve billing and payment discrepancies and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Monitor and analyze key AR metrics, providing regular reports to Finance management on aging reports, and other relevant KPIs.
• Implement and enforce credit policies, evaluating and approving credit limits for new and existing customers.
• Lead the reconciliation of customer accounts, addressing any discrepancies and ensuring accuracy in financial records.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key customers, resolving issues and negotiating payment terms as needed.
• Work closely within the finance department to ensure seamless integration of AR processes with overall financial operations.
• Participate in formulation and enhancement of AR-related policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and compliance.

Cash Management

• and implement strategic investment plans, annually enhance policies, and formulate operational improvement plans.
• in maintaining effective governance within the treasury function.

• and maintain strategic relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• in industry research and evaluate investment opportunities. Assess opportunities for investment, particularly in term deposits, and formulate cash planning strategies based on historical trends.
• risk mitigation and profitability optimization.
• in-depth analyses of various scenarios and potential risks, providing timely and precise financial reports to senior management.
• a detailed examination of cash flows within entities, differentiating net consumers and contributors for refined financial planning strategies.

Others

• Provide guidance and training to the team, fostering a high-performance culture and continuous improvement in processes.
• Contribute in achievement of Department objectives by executing / achieving the KPIs assigned by line manager and submit relevant supporting documents during KPIs evaluation.
• Reduce Department's Risks by closing all audit findings from different entities such as IAD, FAD, ISR, ISO and other certificates, …etc. in line with the agreed deadlines.

People Responsibilities:

• Assess training needs for the team and ensure that the team is fully capable to meet the job requirements
• Evaluate and discuss job performance to identify issues and to work on resolving problems
• Provide formal and informal evaluations/feedback, addressing employee issues when required
