JOB PURPOSE
The Manager, Continuous Improvement is responsible for driving enterprise‑wide Operational Excellence and sustainable value creation by improving the end‑to‑end processes that enable ADNOC Gas to operate safely, reliably, efficiently, and at optimal cost.
The role focuses on strengthening how work is designed, governed, executed, and enabled across the organization, ensuring that operational, technical, and organizational processes consistently support performance, safety, reliability, cost efficiency, and long‑term value delivery.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Continuous Improvement & Value Optimization
- Identify, assess, and challenge complex, fragmented, lengthy, and manually intensive processes that create unnecessary workload, execution delays, or excessive manpower demand.
- Lead the development and implementation of simplified, standardized, and automated modifications or changes that improve efficiency, quality, and execution speed.
- Ensure improvement initiatives are value‑led, with clear linkage to productivity gains, cost reduction or avoidance, and improved organizational capacity utilization.
Process, Modification & Change Optimization
- Apply structured, data‑driven analysis to evaluate how processes and operational changes are:
- Designed, governed, and controlled
- Executed and interfaced across functions and sites
- Supported by systems, tools, and information flows
- Resourced and staffed
- Drive optimization of processes, modifications, and organizational changes that influence asset performance, reliability, integrity, safety, planning effectiveness, cost control, and execution efficiency.
Automation, Analytics & Intelligent Enablement
- Promote the use of automation, advanced analytics, intelligent systems, and AI‑based capabilities to:
- Reduce manual effort, duplication, and rework
- Shorten cycle times and decision latency
- Improve accuracy, consistency, and transparency
- Strengthen decision quality and performance predictability
- Support structural workload reduction, enabling sustainable productivity improvement and efficient use of organizational resources.
Operational Excellence & Performance Support
- Ensure continuous improvement initiatives directly support Operational Excellence outcomes, including improved safety, reliability, availability, cost efficiency, and capital discipline.
Strengthen the linkage between performance, cost, and value delivery across ADNOC Gas
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or equivalent.
Experience & Knowledge
- Minimum 10–12 years of experience in continuous improvement, operational excellence, process optimization, or performance improvement roles, preferably in Oil & Gas or heavy industry.
- Strong understanding of end‑to‑end operational and enabling processes and their impact on performance and cost.
