Manager Safety

The Manager Safety is responsible for the following functions in relation to CAR - AIR Ops, CAR SMS, CAR-OCR and AAIR regulations and corresponding IOSA standards: Analysing triggered events and trends and determining if further investigative action needs to be taken. Ensuring the conduct of effective internal safety investigations in relation to CAR SMS, CAR-OCR and CAR - AIR Ops requirements. Composing and/or review safety reports for publication to the relevant internal and/or external stakeholders and government authorities. Supporting the lead safety investigator/ representative of the Safety Department in the company emergency response go-team, with regard to any accident or serious incident. Performing effectiveness checks on elements of relevant processes and required communication channels between departments to ensure their robustness. Educated to bachelor's degree level in a safety or aviation-related field At least 5 years total working experience within operational experience, knowledge of Civil Aviation Standards & Regulations and Safety Management Systems
