Position Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Manager Sales (MRO Lead) to drive the growth of the MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations) and aftermarket business across the UAE oil & gas and industrial sector, with a strategic focus on upstream wellhead solutions, while continuing to develop opportunities across midstream and downstream applications.

The role will be responsible for building a profitable service-driven business, expanding customer relationships, developing strategic accounts and leading the transition into the upstream wellhead segment. The ideal candidate will bring strong UAE market knowledge, established customer relationships and proven experience in valve MRO, aftermarket sales and service contract development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, develop and grow the MRO and aftermarket business with sustainable profitability.
  


• Develop business opportunities for wellhead equipment and components, with an initial focus on upstream applications followed by midstream and downstream markets.
  


• Support the approval and qualification process and promote company products across the client ecosystem.
  


• Expand existing valve product business, including ball valves, gate/globe/check (GGC) valves and butterfly valves, while driving growth into the upstream wellhead segment.
  


• Develop service-led revenue streams through valve repair, refurbishment, testing, modification and retrofit solutions.
  


• Build strong relationships with end users, maintenance teams, shutdown engineers and asset owners to identify and secure MRO opportunities.
  


• Manage and develop opportunities related to turnaround and shutdown (TA/SD) activities across customer assets.
  


• Promote and generate on-site service opportunities.
  


• Establish, develop and lead a high-performing MRO/service team as the business expands.
  


• Work closely with internal teams to develop customer-focused solutions, commercial proposals and long-term service strategies.
  

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in oil & gas valve MRO, aftermarket sales or service business development, with strong UAE market exposure.
  


• Proven track record of building profitable aftermarket revenue streams and securing service contracts.
  


• Strong technical understanding of wellhead equipment and standard valve products, including ball, gate/globe/check (GGC) and butterfly valves.
  


• Established relationships with Operating Companies, maintenance teams, and shutdown/turnaround stakeholders.
  


• Strong commercial leadership skills with the ability to develop strategies, manage accounts and deliver business growth.
  


• Engineering degree or equivalent technical qualification preferred.
  


• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

• Experience in valve manufacturing processes, production environments or industrial facility development.
