Job Overview

Responsible for selling products to achieve sales targets in terms of quantity and value whilst maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for achieving individual sales targets (unit sales, revenue and gross profit).
• Execute agreed business plan, to ensure the company achieves its sales and market share targets.
• Develop a good knowledge of customers' needs and buying behaviors in order to support customers and provide them with the appropriate solution.
• Review customer's / consultant's specification; carry out optimized product selection, technical configuration of products in alignment with specs, preparation of costing & compliance statement, preparation & submission of techno-commercial offer.
• Attend to customer concerns/ problems and ensure that they are resolved amicably, in timely and professional manner.
• Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all customers
• Create product awareness and arrange/ conduct customer presentations and product demonstrations to improve sales opportunities and deals closure.
• Develop with sales manager individual sales plan (unit sales, revenue, gross profit, participation, closure, etc.)
• Support execution and achievements of department objectives and action plans.
• Use the CRM system to create/manage activities, business opportunities, as per CRM business rules and conventions.
• Ensure the quality and timeliness of quoting, invoicing, and product delivery.
• Develop with the Sales Manager individual call plan and ensures its timely execution.
• Complete the 'won' and 'lost' sales reports in timely manner, and ensures data quality.
• Provide to the Sales Manager periodical reports to apprise him on business environment.
• Keep up to date with new products, and support department on NPI activities.
• Sell Integrated Solutions (New product Plus CSAs, Options, etc.) and meet targets
• Assist the Accounts Department in collection of receivables where needed.
• Initiate TPRs and SPARs for special pricing assistance.
• Assist in planning and managing participation in trade shows and exhibitions to maximize market coverage.
• Ensure accurate and timely update of DBS customer database (Customer & Machines data)

Qualification and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering;
• 4-6 years relevant experience in handling sales and application of Marine propulsion engines and Marine generator sets;
• Should have proficiency in English; Arabic speaking skills and knowledge about UAE Marine market / customers will be considered as an advantage.
• Should have a valid UAE driving license.
• Should have skills to read and develop basic auto-cad drawing.
