Job Description - Marketing Content Manager

Job Overview: The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating, editing, and optimizing content that aligns with the company’s brand and marketing goals. This role requires a passion for writing, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to produce compelling content that resonates with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Content Creation:
  • Write and edit high-quality content for websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, and other marketing materials.
  • Develop content that is engaging, informative, and aligned with the company’s brand voice and messaging.
  • Collaborate with designers, videographers, and other content creators to produce multimedia content.
  1. Content Optimization:
  • Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to improve content visibility and search rankings.
  • Optimize existing content to enhance readability, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Monitor and analyze content performance using analytics tools and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
  1. Content Planning and Strategy:
  • Assist in the development of content calendars and content strategies that support marketing objectives.
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities based on market research and audience insights.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging content formats.
  1. Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure all content is accurate, well-researched, and free of grammatical errors.
  • Adhere to brand guidelines and maintain consistency in tone, style, and messaging.
  • Review and proofread content created by other team members or freelancers.
  1. Collaboration and Coordination:
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align content efforts with overall marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development.
  • Manage relationships with external content creators, freelancers, and agencies as needed.
  1. Engagement and Community Building:
  • Engage with the online community through social media interactions, blog comments, and other platforms.
  • Respond to audience feedback and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster a positive and active community around the brand.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Content Specialist, Copywriter, or similar role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and content optimization techniques.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and content distribution channels.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
