GM Roles & Responsibilities

• Recruiting, interviewing, hiring, supervising,managing, and disciplining team members
• Creating employee schedules, assigningschedules and responsibilities to employees, checking to see ifthese responsibilities and assignments are carried through in theclub
• Training new employees and providingongoing education for employees
• Evaluatingstaff based on performance-based metrics
• Setting criteria for the team such as clubsales performance and member approval or complaints
• Managing the club operations and facilitiesensuring a clean and well functioning environment.
• Pet Health & Safety - Ensuring humanetreatment of all animals for all service offerings at all times.Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy facility environment byestablishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards andprocedures; complying with health and legal regulations. Enforcecompany pet sick care policies.
• FinancialResponsibility - Maintain supply cost controls. Meet storefinancial objectives. Control costs without compromising quality.
• Responsible for managing the team, training,coaching, scheduling, and ensuring the integrity of the PUPScorporate culture. Meet regularly with team leads to get feedbackon improving the level of service as well as Team Membersatisfaction. Acknowledging the accomplishments of team members andconducting monthly award recognitions. Scheduling performancereviews as well as documenting performance. Enforcing policies andprocedures.
• Facilities - Maintain highstandards of cleanliness at all times. Develop daily, weekly, andmonthly cleaning tasks. Ensure cleaning tasks have been completed.Ensure that store assets are treated with respect. Work withmaintenance partners to fix any damaged equipment, furniture, orfixtures in a timely manner.
• MemberCommunication & Outreach - Be a brand champion. Know members ona personal level. Encourage feedback and reviews. Buildrelationships. Handle all sensitive member service issues. Takeownership and be empathetic to all member inquiries or requests.
• Operations - Supply Ordering. Maintainingsecurity systems and key inventory. Maintain Register. Cash Drops.Organize club team functions.
