Mechanical BIM Modeler

The Mechanical BIM Modeler is responsible for developing, updating, and managing detailed 3D BIM models for mechanical services including HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems. The role involves coordination with other disciplines to ensure accurate, clash-free, and fully coordinated models in compliance with project standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed 3D BIM models for HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems using Revit or similar BIM software.
• Interpret mechanical drawings, specifications, and design documents.
• Coordinate with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to ensure clash-free models.
• Perform clash detection and resolve issues using Navisworks or similar tools.
• Prepare fabrication and installation drawings from BIM models.
• Ensure compliance with project BIM standards, BEP, and client requirements.
• Update models based on design revisions and site changes.
• Support quantity take-offs and material extraction from BIM models.
• Participate in coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts.
