Requirements
Roles&Responsibilities:
- Leadingand executing Mechanical HVAC Plumbing & Firefightingdesigns: Spearhead the complete mechanical design processensuring adherence to required standards andquality.
- Designingtreatment plants and pumping stations: Develop mechanicaldesigns for treatment plants and pumping stations according to PWAstandards and quality as assigned by the teamlead.
- Conceptualdesign development: Initiate and develop concept designswith optioneering for comprehensive Mechanical HVAC Plumbing& Firefighting systemsdesigns.
- Reportwriting: Demonstrate excellent report writing skills tocommunicate design concepts effectively andfindings.
- Calculationand spreadsheet preparation: Prepare and generatespreadsheets for carrying out necessary calculations in the designprocess.
- Coordinationwith other disciplines: Collaborate with other DisciplineEngineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs withother projectelements.
- Coordinationwith BIM/CAD Technicians: Liaise with BIM/CAD Techniciansto ensure project requirements and timelines aremet.
- Clientand project meetings: Conduct client and project meetingsas required to discuss progress and address anyconcerns.
- Networkanalysis: Perform steadystate and surge analysis modelingfor pressurized networks asnecessary.
- Regulatorycompliance: Ensure all designs meet statutory andregulatoryrequirements.
- Supportproject submittals: Assist in the preparation andsubmission of project documents and No Objection Certificates (NOC)to relevantauthorities.
- Resourceallocation: Allocate resources and time effectively tomeet project deadlines andmilestones.
- Technicalproficiency: Stay updated with relevant technicaldevelopments within the discipline to enhance designcapabilities.
- Contractualunderstanding: Understand the contract and scope ofproject deliverables to ensure alignment with clientexpectations.
- Health& Safety: Ensure that Health & Safetyprotocols are integrated into all work practices in accordance withcompanypolicies.
- Reporting:Provide regular work status updates including risks or concerns toSeniors or MEPmanager.
- Meetingparticipation: Attend and contribute to team and projectmeetings asrequired.
- Timemanagement: Complete accurate time sheets by setdeadlines to facilitate project tracking and billingprocesses.
