Mechanical Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare mechanical shop drawings, coordination drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings.
  
• Prepare detailed HVAC and mechanical layouts using AutoCAD.
  
• Develop drawings for:
  • Ductwork and ventilation systems
    
  • Chilled water piping
    
  • AHU, FCU, FAHU and other HVAC equipment
    
  • Fresh air and exhaust systems
    
  • Smoke extraction systems
    
  • Mechanical rooms and plant rooms
    
  • Pumps, valves and associated mechanical services
    
• Coordinate mechanical drawings with Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, Architectural, and Structuraldrawings.
  
• Identify and resolve clashes and discrepancies before and during site execution.
  
• Prepare sections, details, schematics, and installation details as required.
  
• Incorporate consultant comments and prepare revised drawings for approval.
  
• Prepare drawings for RFI, technical submissions, builder's work, sleeves, and openings.
  
• Coordinate with Site Engineers, BIM Coordinators, Consultants, and subcontractors.
  
• Visit the site when required to verify actual conditions and prepare as-built drawings.
  
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and documentation.
