Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Perform mechanical maintenance tasks onsafety and non-safety related Systems, Structures and Componentssuch as Pump, valve, HVAC, chiller, heat exchanger, EDG asprescribed to effectively maintain the plant and ensure highequipment reliability and performance.

Responsibilities andAccountabilities:
•Perform mechanicalmaintenance activities to ensure all job tasks are performed in atimely manner and with quality to achieve operational readiness andto operate with the highest level of safety andreliability.
•Perform planned and correctivemechanical maintenance activities and surveillances in accordancewith the relevant procedures and processes on mechanical plantsystems, structures and components to ensure appropriatefunctioning.This includes, amongst others:
- The NuclearSteam Supply System (NSSS) mechanical equipment, specificallyreactor, steam generators, fuel handling facilities, Heating,Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC), heat exchangers, pumps,Emergency Diesel Generator (EDG), Alternating Alternate Current(AAC) Diesel Generator (DG), cranes & hoists, valves,chillers, hangers & supports, etc.
- The Balanceof Plant (BOP) equipment, including pumps, valves, intake,rad-waste equipment, chillers, compressors, engines,etc.
•Perform proper and timely preparation andstaging of maintenance work activities which includes thesubmission of procurement requests for equipment spare parts andspecial tools to ensure mechanical maintenance activities areproperly resourced.
•Attend pre- and post-jobbriefings and oversee maintenance teams performing tasks to ensurealignment with the maintenance standards and procedures inNawah.
•Document equipment history reportsfollowing maintenance on systems, structures and components tomaintain an accurate history record.
•Conductperiodic and surveillance tests to confirm efficient plantmechanical system performance or identifydeficiencies.
•Update the equipment and materialmaster data within the material management system to ensureaccuracy of equipment and material specifications in the plant withthose in the warehouse.
•Comply with MaintenanceCode of Conduct procedures and guidelines to ensure the safety andreliability of the plant.
•Performtroubleshooting processes on the mechanical systems and componentsto ensure issues are resolved correctly and in a timelymanner.

•Ensure managementexpectations on the Conduct of Maintenance are implemented andadhered to.
•Provide training feedback onprogram effectiveness through evaluation of performance to ensure ahigh quality of training and qualificationprogram.
