We are currently looking to hire a Manager Medical Provider Network , the job holder will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of our medical provider network in the UAE market . This role involves building strong relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring compliance with regulations , and optimizing network performance to deliver high-quality and cost-effective healthcare services to our clients. She/he oversees the day-to-day activities within the department and leads transformation initiatives under agreed upon quality, budget and timeline . This is a strategic role within our organization, reporting to the Operations Manager and having high exposure to senior management, the Head Office, and key strategic partners, providing multiple career advancement opportunities, in the UAE and abroad.

Your Job:

• Develop and drive the implementation of MedNets Supplier Relationship Management strategy.
• Maximize the operational and commercial value of the medical provider network for the organization.
• Lead, motivate and develop subordinates for the achievement of business and cultural goals.
• Identify and empanel healthcare providers, to expand our medical network. Ensure adequate coverage across various specialties and geographic regions.
• Ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations, insurance laws, and company policies. Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with network providers. Conduct regular visits and surveys, address concerns, and ensure a high level of satisfaction among network members.
• Negotiate contracts with healthcare providers, ensuring competitive pricing, service quality, and compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, claims, approvals, and production to ensure seamless coordination and support for network-related activities.
• Address customer inquiries and complaints related to the medical network. Work with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Lead the organization of chronic illness prevention/wellness programmes for clients to facilitate awareness of quality health care initiatives across the network.
• Implement quality assurance programs to monitor and improve the performance of network providers. Address quality issues promptly and work with providers to resolve them.
• Analyze network performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Implement strategies to enhance service quality, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
• Prepare regular reports on network performance, cost analysis, and Use data analytics to make informed decisions about network development and optimization.
• Ensure network-related standard operating procedures and associated work instructions are regularly updated and communicated with healthcare providers.
• Design and continuously improve a state-of-the-art provider portal. Continuously seek for improvements and new ways to leverage technology to improve operations performance (i.e. provider chatbot,¦)
• Special initiatives and new models: Lead the implementation of special provider related initiatives such as the chronic refill, home delivery, teleconsultation, gate keeper arrangements, etc.

Your Profile:

• Bachelors / Medical degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering or any related field (Medical background or demonstrated equivalent professional experience)
• Minimum of +5 years experience in a network managerial role, preferably in the following industries: hospitals, insurance companies, medical TPA.
• Skills and competencies:
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems and insurance (regulations and ecosystem)
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, business planning and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus.
• People management and ability to motivate team members.
• Team player and integrity. Hands on self-starter displaying a growth mindset and make it happen attitude.
• Advanced computer Literacy (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint)
• Flexibility to travel within the UAE and regionally as required.
• UAE Driving license.
• Willingness to travel extensively locally and internationally.
