Job Description - MEP Coordination Draftsman

Key Responsibilities

Drafting & Coordination Drawings: Prepare detailed 2D/3D shop drawings,, schematics, and layouts for HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, and electrical systems using AutoCAD and Revit.
Clash Detection & Resolution: Analyze architectural and structural plans to identify and resolve clashes between MEP services, ensuring proper integration.
System Integration: Create "composite" or "coordinated" drawings that combine all MEP services into one layout, including sections and details for crowded areas (e.g., ceiling voids).
Site Support & As -Builts: Produce builder’s work drawings (sleeves, blockouts) and update drawings to as -built status based on final site installations.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, international standards (e.g., NFPA, ASHRAE), and local authority regulations (e.g., DEWA, Dubai Municipality, Civil Defense).
Document Control: Maintain revision logs, file organization, and submission records.
