MEP Engineer(Construction project)

We have an urgent requirement for MEP Engineer(Construction project) for our client based  Ras Al Khaimah.
Oversee MEP works, review drawings and submissions, ensure compliance with codes/standards, and support testing and commissioning.--Must
Monitor schedules, budgets, contractor performance, and liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams.--Must
Implement QA/QC procedures, enforce HSE standards, and ensure regulatory approvals and statutory compliance.--Must
Prepare reports/presentations, guide junior engineers, resolve issues, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.--Must

Role Overview: The MEP Engineer will supervise Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for the 60K Warehouses Project and other assigned projects. The role ensures timely delivery within budget, scope, and quality standards, while complying with UAE codes, international standards, and authority requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
•    Stakeholder management: Liaise with consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal teams; attend meetings and site inspections; resolve technical issues; maintain strong relationships.
•    Communication & leadership: Prepare reports, presentations, and meeting minutes; provide guidance to junior engineers; demonstrate strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
•    Technical supervision: Oversee MEP works, review drawings and submissions, ensure compliance with codes and standards, and support testing/commissioning.
•    Project management: Monitor schedules, budgets, and contractor performance; ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
•    Regulatory compliance: Coordinate with authorities for approvals, permits, and certifications; ensure adherence to statutory requirements.
•    Quality & HSE: Implement QA/QC procedures, monitor safety compliance, and participate in inspections and audits.
Qualifications:
•    Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
•    PMP certification is an advantage.
•    Minimum 5 years’ experience in similar projects (warehouses, labor accommodations).
•    Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency preferred.
•    Strong technical knowledge of MEP works in construction projects.
•    Excellent project management and problem-solving skills.
•    Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and project management software; BIM/Revit, Primavera P6, and MS Project are a plus.
