MEP Project Manager

Job Summary:

The MEP Project Manager leads the site-based MEP execution team and ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and plumbing work are executed to the highest standards. The role involves managing schedules, resolving technical issues, maintaining compliance, and ensuring completion within budget and time constraints. This role requires advanced knowledge of MEP project management, strong communication with stakeholders, and fluent Arabic and English.

Area of Responsibility & Brief Description of Activities and Expected Output

Project Planning & Coordination: Plan and sequence MEP activities, coordinate with civil and structural teams, ensure timely resource allocation.

Budget & Cost Control: Monitor MEP project budgets, track expenses, review BOQs, reduce variations, and ensure completion within budget.

Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with project specifications, technical standards, and client requirements; conduct site inspections.

Leadership & Team Management: Lead MEP engineers and subcontractors, assign tasks, monitor progress, and resolve issues proactively.

Risk & Conflict Resolution: Identify and resolve project risks, site challenges, and technical disputes swiftly and effectively.

Client & Stakeholder Liaison: Communicate progress, technical updates, and coordinate approvals with clients, consultants, and authorities.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce HSE standards on site, ensure MEP activities are performed in line with safety regulations.

Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of site activities, progress reports, testing, and commissioning documentation.
