MicroStrategy Analyst (Contract)

The Role Role The Senior Microstrategy Analyst will play a vital role within the Digital and Advanced Analytics business unit. This project entails collaboration with a highly skilled, cross-functional team encompassing Intelligent Process Automation, Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, and Analytics. It offers the opportunity to engage closely with business users, holding client-facing roles, who are industry leaders. Together, you will identify their key challenges and devise a strategy to enhance efficiency and performance through MicroStrategy-powered business applications. The project's execution will involve creating dashboards, reports, and scorecards in MicroStrategy to support various project stages. The ideal person will:

• Conduct interviews with key stakeholders to comprehend client requirements.
• Have experience in the design, development, and testing of MicroStrategy reports and dashboards.
• Proficiency in implementing enterprise reporting and dashboards using MicroStrategy.
• Possess strong relational database management skills, including Oracle, SQL Server, and Teradata, with the ability to write complex SQL queries.
• Demonstrated experience in implementing Application and Schema Objects.
• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for MicroStrategy solutions, encompassing design, MSTR project configuration, Security Model development, Self Service BI, and analytics.
• Hands-on experience working with data warehouses and data marts.

The Person

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining Business Intelligence solutions utilizing MicroStrategy.
• Proficiency in designing and developing reports, dashboards, and scorecards within MicroStrategy.
• Ability to create wireframes and dashboards based on specific business requirements.
• Approximately 2-7 years of hands-on experience working with MicroStrategy.
• Basic understanding of SQL is required for the candidate.
