Mixologist - La Vita Bar

Palazzo Versace Hotel is seeking an innovative and skilled Mixologist to join the prestigious La Vita Restaurant & Bar team. Key Responsibilities:

Cocktail Preparation and Service:

• Create and prepare a diverse array of innovative cocktails, ensuring precision in recipe execution and presentation.
• Maintain high standards of quality in drink preparation and service, adhering to established guidelines and specifications.

Guest Interaction:

• Engage with guests to provide personalized recommendations and insights into cocktail offerings, enhancing their overall experience at La Vita.
• Address guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, ensuring satisfaction and a welcoming atmosphere.

Menu Development:

• Collaborate with the culinary team and management to design and update the beverage menu, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current trends in mixology.
• Experiment with new flavors and techniques to continuously innovate and elevate the cocktail program.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in managing inventory levels for bar supplies, including spirits, mixers, and garnishes, ensuring optimal stock levels and proper storage.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records to support efficient stock management.

Compliance and Safety:

• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and licensing regulations, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
• Follow responsible alcohol service guidelines to promote a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.

Team Collaboration:

• Work closely with fellow team members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive service experience.
• Support training initiatives for new staff members, sharing knowledge of mixology techniques and service standards.

Promotional Activities:

• Participate in the development and execution of beverage promotions and special events to enhance guest engagement and drive traffic to La Vita.
• Stay informed about industry trends and advancements in mixology to continually improve offerings.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a mixologist in a luxury hotel or upscale bar setting.
• Extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktails, and mixology techniques, with a demonstrated passion for beverage innovation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members.
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and service quality.
