Motion Graphics Editor

Role Overview

The Editor – Motion plays a key role within Wasl Channel’s content and production team. This position is responsible for editing video content while integrating motion graphics, visual effects, animated elements, and dynamic visual storytelling.

The role combines creative editing skills with motion design expertise to enhance documentaries, long-form content, and social media outputs.

• Fluency in Arabic (spoken and written) is mandatory
• 3+ years experience in video editing & motion graphics
• Strong portfolio (documentary, social, or cinematic work)
• Proficient in:
• Adobe After Effects
• Adobe Premiere Pro
• Adobe Illustrator & Photoshop
• Solid understanding of:
• Motion design & animation principles
• Timing, pacing, and storytelling
• Ability to create & integrate:
• Motion graphics
• Titles & subtitles
• Transitions & visual effects (VFX)
• Strong eye for:
• Composition
• Color
• Typography
• Detail
• Experience in:
• Social media content (Reels / short-form)
• Long-form content & documentaries
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Strong collaboration skills with content, production, and direction teams
• Open to learning and using AI tools to:
• Speed up editing workflows
• Enhance creative output
• Automate repetitive tasks
• Self-driven, adaptable, and responsive to feedback
