Native Level English Teacher

About the Role

We are looking for a Native-Level English Teacher who is passionate about helping learners become more confident and effective English communicators.

The role involves delivering engaging, interactive and practical English lessons to learners from different nationalities and proficiency levels. The teacher will be expected to adapt lessons to individual learning objectives and may work with students through one-to-one, small-group, classroom, online, and corporate training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality English language lessons using a communicative and student-centered approach.
  
• Teach General English, Spoken English, Business English, pronunciation, and communication skills.
  
• Deliver IELTS, PTE or other examination preparation classes where qualified and required.
  
• Conduct one-to-one and group classes for learners at different CEFR levels.
  
• Assess students' English proficiency and identify their learning needs and objectives.
  
• Prepare structured lesson plans and select appropriate teaching materials and activities.
  
• Develop students' confidence in speaking and communicating in real-life and professional situations.
  
• Teach and reinforce grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, listening, reading, writing and speaking skills.
  
• Provide regular and constructive feedback to students on their progress.
  
• Track student attendance, progress and learning outcomes accurately.
  
• Adapt teaching methods and materials to suit different learning styles, abilities and cultural backgrounds.
  
• Create an engaging classroom environment where students feel comfortable practicing English.
  
• Use digital tools, multimedia resources and interactive activities to enhance the learning experience.
  
• Deliver customized English training for corporate clients when required.
  
• Participate in placement assessments, trial classes and student evaluations.
  
• Attend academic meetings, teacher training and professional development sessions.
  
• Maintain professional standards and comply with Express English academic policies and procedures.
  
• Contribute ideas and feedback to continuously improve teaching quality, course content and student experience.
  

Requirements

• Native or native-level English proficiency with excellent spoken and written communication skills.
  
• A bachelor's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field is preferred.
  
• CELTA, DELTA, TESOL, TEFL or another recognized English teaching qualification is preferred.
  
• Previous experience teaching English as a second language, preferably in a language institute or training center.
  
• Experience teaching adult learners and students from multicultural backgrounds.
  
• Strong knowledge of English grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and communication skills.
  
• Ability to teach across different English proficiency levels.
  
• Excellent presentation, classroom management and student engagement skills.
  
• Confident using technology and online teaching platforms.
  
• Professional, approachable, patient and enthusiastic personality.
  
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, based on class schedules.
