Salary: AED 8,000 - 10,000 per month

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for an experienced Naval Architect to join our Hull Division for our cutting-edge Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) project in Abu Dhabi, focusing on hull design, development and performance optimization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Design and develop hull lines, hull forms and structural layouts for USV platforms

- Perform hydrodynamics, resistance, stability and seakeeping analysis for hull

- Manage weight estimation, weight budget and weight distribution for hull

- Oversee hull fabrication, composite construction and outfitting

- Conduct hull performance trials and analyze sea trial data

- Ensure hull design compliance with maritime stability rules and classification standards

- Collaborate with systems, mechanical and propulsion teams for hull integration

- Optimize hull for speed, endurance, payload and stealth

TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

- Expertise in Hull design and structural engineering

- Hands-on experience with CFD / hydrodynamic simulation tools - Maxsurf, Star-CCM+, Rhino, Orca3D

- Strong knowledge of maritime stability rules, composites and marine materials

- Experience with buoyancy, trim and stability calculations

REQUIREMENTS:

- 5+ years of experience in Naval Architecture / Marine vessel design / Hull Design

- Experience in USV, high-speed boats, patrol boats or autonomous marine systems preferred

- Degree in Naval Architecture / Marine Engineering or related field

- Willingness for field work and sea trials support
