Neonatologist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Neonatologist to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for providing specialized care to critically ill newborns and those born prematurely. You will work in our state-of-the-art Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), where collaboration with a multidisciplinary team ensures that our youngest patients receive the highest standard of care.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and diagnosing medical conditions in newborns.
• Administering advanced medical interventions and life support as needed.
• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on the latest evidence-based practices.
• Collaborating with nurses, pediatricians, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
• Providing support and education to families regarding their newborn's condition and care options.
• Participating in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance neonatal care.
• Maintaining accurate and comprehensive medical records.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Pediatrics residency and a Neonatology fellowship.
• Board certification in Neonatology is required.
• Active medical license in the state of practice.
• A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in a NICU or equivalent setting preferred.
• Strong clinical skills with a focus on the care of critically ill newborns.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
