Neonatology specialist DOH

We are looking for a dedicated Neonatology Specialist to join our esteemed healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide expert care and management for critically ill newborns, offering vital support in the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) environment.

Your responsibilities will include diagnosing and managing a variety of conditions affecting newborns, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive care plans, and educating families on neonatal care. We are seeking a passionate professional who is committed to improving outcomes and experiences for our youngest patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical care to premature and critically ill infants in the NICU.
• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with families, providing support and education regarding infant health issues and care.
• Participate in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance neonatology practices.
• Maintain meticulous medical documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a pediatric residency and a fellowship in Neonatology.
• Board certification in Neonatology is required.
• A valid medical license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a neonatal intensive care setting.
• Strong clinical skills in managing a range of neonatal conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for family interaction.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and contributions to research.
