Commercial / Business Development Coordinator

Location: Dubai, UAE
Reports to: Global Business Development Manager

Role Purpose
The Commercial / Business Development Coordinator will support the Global Business Development Manager in coordinating business development activities, client engagement, proposals, tenders, and commercial administration across ICM Group’s international markets.

The role will help maintain an organised BD pipeline, coordinate internal inputs, prepare client and commercial documentation, monitor opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up on business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the Global Business Development Manager with day-to-day business development and commercial activities.


• Research new clients, projects, markets, and potential business opportunities.


• Maintain and update the CRM, including leads, opportunities, contacts, activities, and pipeline information.


• Assist with RFIs, RFQs, tenders, proposals, presentations, and commercial submissions.


• Coordinate information and inputs from recruitment, manpower, training, competency, consulting, and digital solutions teams.


• Prepare client meeting packs, reports, presentations, and commercial documentation.


• Track proposals, follow-ups, client responses, and key opportunity milestones.


• Assist with maintaining accurate pipeline and sales reports for management.


• Support client communications and meeting coordination where required.


• Conduct market and competitor research to support the identification of new opportunities.


• Provide general commercial and administrative support to the Global Business Development Manager.

Experience & Qualifications

• 3–5 years’ experience in business development, commercial coordination, sales support, account coordination, or a similar role.


• Experience within oil and gas, energy, drilling, offshore, recruitment/manpower, or workforce solutions would be advantageous.


• Strong organisational and coordination skills with excellent attention to detail.


• Good written and verbal English communication skills.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.


• Experience with CRM systems; Pipedrive experience would be advantageous.


• Commercially aware, proactive, and comfortable working with international clients and teams.


• Currently based in Dubai/UAE and available to support international business activities.

The successful candidate should be able to manage multiple priorities, follow up consistently, and work closely with the Global Business Development Manager to ensure opportunities progress efficiently from lead through to proposal and commercial close.
