Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Fit-Out Manager to join our client in Dubai. The primary focus of this role is to oversee the successful end-to-end delivery of fit-out projects for showrooms, high-end retail brands, supermarkets, offices, and other commercial spaces. The successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and brand compliance, protecting our reputation for excellence and consistently outstanding project outcomes.

This is a critical role that requires deep expertise in construction and fit-out project management, strong organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while collaborating effectively with project teams, contractors, consultants, clients and brand representatives, a sharp commercial awareness, and the capacity to understand and uphold the DNA of our clients’ brands.

Key responsibilities

1. Project planning and coordination

• Lead the planning, coordination, and end-to-end execution of fit-out projects for showrooms, high-end retail brands, supermarkets, offices, and commercial spaces from concept through to handover.


• Develop detailed project schedules, resource plans, and budgets.


• Monitor project progress closely and ensure timely delivery within approved costs and specifications.


• Coordinate with design teams, brand representatives, and clients to ensure designs, materials, and finishes fully align with brand standards and operational requirements.

2. Site execution and management

• Oversee all on-site fit-out works, managing contractors, subcontractors, and site teams to achieve high-quality workmanship, finishes, and timely progress.


• Conduct regular site inspections, progress reviews, and quality checks to identify and resolve issues promptly.


• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and local authority requirements.

3. Stakeholder and client management

• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, brand teams, consultants, and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.


• Represent the company in progress meetings, client presentations, and handover sessions.


• Manage client expectations and ensure brand DNA and guidelines are followed.


• Identify and source suppliers and subcontractors according to project needs independently and/or in close coordination with the Design and Contracting teams.

4. Cost, quality and risk control

• Monitor project costs, control variations, and implement value-engineering solutions without compromising quality or brand standards.


• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies to protect project outcomes and company reputation.


• Drive snagging processes and ensure complete, defect-free handover and provide required documentation.


• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, photographic records, and digital archives for all projects.

Team leadership

• Handle site teams and subcontractors; promote a culture of quality, safety, and brand compliance.


• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve fit-out processes, checklists, and best practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related discipline.


• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent) are highly desirable.


• Minimum 6-8 years of progressive experience in Fit-Out Project Management within the construction, high-end retail, commercial, or interior fit-out industry, preferably in the UAE (Dubai experience strongly preferred).


• Proven track record of delivering complex fit-out projects for high-end retail brands, showrooms, supermarkets, offices, hospitality, or similar commercial spaces where brand standards and finish quality are non-negotiable.


• Strong experience managing multi-stakeholder projects, including brand guidelines enforcement, mock-up approvals, contractor coordination, and client handovers.


• Demonstrable commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, tenders, variations, and cost-control measures effectively while protecting quality and brand standards.


• Excellent communication, and stakeholder management skills. The ability to influence contractors and teams while maintaining strong client and brand relationships.


• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management and issue resolution.


• Proficiency in project management tools, scheduling software and documentation platforms.


• Valid UAE driving license is preferred (frequent site visits required).
