POSITIONSUMMARY
Process all guest checkins by confirmingreservations assigning room and issuing and activating room key.Process all payment types such as room charges cash checks debit orcredit. Process all checkouts including resolving any late anddisputed charges. Answer record and process all guest callsmessages requests questions or concerns. Coordinate withHousekeeping to track readiness of rooms for checkin. Communicateparking procedures to guests/visitors and dispatch bell staff orvalet staff as needed. Supply guests with directions andinformation regarding property and local areas of interest. Rundaily reports (number of arrivals departures) identify any specialrequests and check reports for accuracy. Complete designatedcashier and closing reports in the computer system. Cash guestspersonal checks and travelers checks. Count bank at the beginningand end of shift. Balance and drop receipts according to Accountingspecifications.
Follow all company safety and security policiesand procedures; report accidents injuries and unsafe workconditions to manager. Follow all company policies and procedures;ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional;maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protectcompany assets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according tocompany standards; anticipate and address guests service needs;assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage; answer telephones using appropriate etiquette. Developand maintain positive working relationships with others. Complywith quality assurance expectations and standards. Stand sit orwalk for an extended period of time. Move lift carry push pull andplace objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds withoutassistance. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested bySupervisors.
PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma orG.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: Norelated work experience.
