OurClient, a leading provider of high-quality pharmacology services,is currently seeking a Business DevelopmentManagerfor its U.S. headquarters in Newark, New Jersey.
TheBusiness Development Manager represents and promotes the company toestablish new long-term business collaborations by meetingpotential customers, sharing the company s platform andcapabilities and building relationships for collaborations with theenterprise.
Responsibilities:
- Developand implement account plans for your client base, focusing on newclient acquisition, sales and revenuegrowth.
- Achievementof new business, renewal business, revenue and profitabilitytargets on a quarterly and annualbasis.
- Developand maintain long-term relationships with clients and in-depthknowledge of their organization and needs with frequentcontact.
- Assistin arranging and hosting prospective client visits at the companysites.
- Participatein conferences, trade shows, andsymposiums.
- Reportto the Director of Business Development in France and collaboratewith the international Business Developmentteam.
- Managesales activities, including sales planning, visits, reports andresults; Maintain correspondence and information in the CRMdatabase
Requirements
Requiredknowledge, skills andabilities:
- Mustbe reliable, highly motivated, well-organized, results-oriented,and customer-focused; independent and self-starting, proactivelychasing leads and opportunities while working with the team tobring the best of the company to acustomer.
- Motivatedto grow the business (Saleshunter)
- Canbuild and manage multiple leads simultaneously, able toprioritize
- Caninfluence and motivate internal stockholders to address client sfeedback ontime
- Strongpresentation, negotiation and persuasion skills; excellentcommunication skills (interpersonal, written,verbal)
- Previousexperience (3+) in business development/sales within ascientific/medical environment/CRO would be aplus.
- Good understanding of the Drug Development Process or ready tolearnquickly
- Liketo work in a multiculturalenvironment
