Occupational Medicine

Talentspoc is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Occupational Medicine specialist to join our healthcare team. In this important role, you will focus on the health and safety of workers, providing expert guidance to prevent workplace injuries and illnesses. You will conduct medical assessments, manage work-related conditions, and develop health promotion initiatives, playing a critical role in enhancing workforce health and productivity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive medical evaluations and assessments for employees, focusing on occupational health risks and conditions.
• Diagnose and treat work-related injuries and illnesses, offering appropriate medical management and referrals when necessary.
• Consult with employers on health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to minimize workplace hazards.
• Develop and implement health promotion and wellness programs tailored to the needs of the workforce.
• Manage cases of workplace injuries, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards.
• Provide training and education to employees and management regarding occupational health practices and risk factors.
• Stay updated on regulations and advancements in occupational medicine to ensure best practices are integrated into service delivery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to address health and safety concerns in the workplace.

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Occupational Medicine is required.
• Current medical license to practice in the state.
• At least 5 years of experience in occupational medicine or a related field.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of occupational health principles.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with employees and employers.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Strong organizational and analytical skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
