Officer - Treasury Back Office

As an Officer – Treasury Operations (Fixed Income Desk), you will be responsible for managing treasury post-trade activities, securities settlements, reconciliations, and investment lifecycle events while ensuring strong governance, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency.
 

What You'll Be Doing:

• Manage end-to-end processing and settlement of Fixed Income, Equities, Repo, and Reverse Repo transactions.
• Validate and authorize treasury transactions booked by Front Office teams, ensuring accuracy and completeness of trade details.
• Process Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, UAE M-Bills, EMTNs, and other investment securities throughout their lifecycle.
• Monitor and process coupon payments, profit distributions, maturities, redemptions, and corporate action events.
• Handle equity settlements and corporate actions including dividends, stock splits, bonus issues, and rights issues.
• Process Repo and Reverse Repo transactions, including collateral management, interest calculations, and maturity settlements.
• Ensure timely settlement and confirmation of transactions with custodians, counterparties, brokers, and clearing agents.
• Perform daily reconciliations of securities positions, custodian accounts, Nostro accounts, treasury systems, and GL balances.
• Support treasury accounting, regulatory reporting, audit activities, and period-end closing processes.
• Drive process improvement, automation initiatives, UAT activities, and operational enhancement projects.
   

What We're Looking For:

• 5-8 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Treasury Back Office, Securities Operations, or Capital Markets Operations.
• Hands-on experience with Bonds, Sukuk, Treasury Bills, M-Bills, Equities, Repo, and Reverse Repo products.
• Strong understanding of securities settlement, custody operations, corporate actions, and treasury reconciliations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or a related field. ACI/CISI certification is an advantage.
