Operations and Sales Engineer

• Meets with office-based customers to identifyrequirements. Gives technical advice related to product selectionand application. Demonstrates products and demonstrates added valueas appropriate. Solicits orders.• Performs technical analysis forcustomer proposals. Prepares technical and commercial proposalsincluding product selection, pricing, and delivery to assignedcustomers. Uses guidelines for pricing, discounts, nationalcontracts, agreements, or special pricing and an understanding ofcost and profit to make decisions.• Builds relationships andservices accounts pre and post-sale. Answers inquiries fromcustomers regarding service, deliveries, and invoicing. Resolvescustomer issues promptly. May monitor receivables and follow upwith customers on past due accounts to ensure that DSOs (Days SalesOutstanding are in line with plan goals as required.
