Operations Planning Manager

Purpose\n\nSupport the coordination and delivery of airline operational projects including new station start-ups, ACMI readiness, aircraft introductions, regulatory approvals, and ad-hoc operational projects. Act as a key operational coordinator across internal departments, regulators, airport authorities, and service providers to ensure all operational and compliance requirements are tracked, progressed, and delivered in line with agreed timelines.The role focuses on execution, tracking, and stakeholder coordination to ensure operational readiness is achieved efficiently, safely, and in full regulatory compliance.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Manage and maintain operational foreign regulatory permissions by researching new permit requirements, liasing with internal stakeholders, preparing documentation, tracking submission timelines, following with foreign regulators and ensuring ontime renewals and continous compliance\n * Support in the delivery of new station readiness by coordinating business readiness ensuring all requirements are captured, tracked and delivered in line with agreed timelines\n * Coordinate new aircraft deliveries ensuring business readiness requirement are captured, tracked and delivered in line with agreed timelines\n * Support seasonal readiness activites by assiting with managing readiness plans and meetings to identify operaional constraints and supporting the implementation of mitigation measures\n * Coordinate business operational readiness for ACMI in / out projects ensuring all operational, safety and regulatory requiremenst are completed\n * Support the planning and execution of adhoc operational activities eg. Charters, fly-pasts, air shows, special events ensuring all operational, safety and reguatory requiremest are met\n * Support the development and maintenance of Operations Planning procedures, tenplates and tolls to ensure consistency and efficiency\n\n\n\nEducation \u0026 Experience \n\n * Bachelor\u2019s degree in Aviation management or project management qualifiction an advantage\n * Previous management experience within the Airline business in planning or a major operational department is essential, preferably 5 years experience \n\n\n\nAbout Etihad Airways\n\nEtihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, was formed in 2003 and quickly went on to become one of the world\u2019s leading airlines.
