Operators (Pumping Station)

• Operate pumps, valves, and other equipment to control the flow of sewage.
• Monitor gauges, meters, control panels, and SCADA systems to ensure proper functionality.
• Start and stop pumps based on flow requirements and system conditions.
• Report and assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults.
• Conduct regular inspections of the pumping station and related infrastructure.
• Record operational data such as flow rates, pressure levels, and equipment status.
• Prepare daily operational logs.
• Respond promptly to alarms, equipment failures, or overflow situations.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams and supervisors during emergencies.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and municipal standards.
• Participate in safety drills and training sessions.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the pumping station.
• Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and maintenance personnel.
• Report unusual conditions or incidents without delay.
• Assist in training new operators and junior staff.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment by understanding, communicating, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and the company’s safety policies and procedures related to operational activities.

• ITI or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical or ICA. 
• 2-3 years of experience working in maintenance specially in sewerage  / irrigation / stormwater pumping stations or STP’s
• Experience with SCADA systems
