About the Role

In your capacity as an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will be responsible for diagnosing and treating conditions related to the mouth, jaw, and facial structures. This role includes performing diverse surgical procedures and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients’ oral and facial conditions
• Develop and execute individualized surgical treatment plans
• Conduct surgeries such as tooth extractions, jaw realignments, and facial trauma repairs
• Diagnose and manage various oral diseases and infections
• Work collaboratively with dental and medical professionals to ensure holistic patient care
• Provide post-operative care and monitor patients’ recovery processes
• Participate in continuing education to remain informed of the latest techniques in oral and maxillofacial surgery

• Medical degree (MD or DMD) with specialization in oral and maxillofacial surgery
• Significant experience in performing a wide range of oral and maxillofacial surgical procedures
• Thorough understanding of modern surgical techniques and methodologies
• In-depth knowledge of oral anatomy, pathology, and treatment options
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient interactions
• Detail-oriented with the ability to handle intricate surgical cases
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address diverse medical challenges
