Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon to join our dynamic and growing team. As an Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon, you will be responsible for providing surgical and non-surgical treatment for patients with disorders or injuries to the head, neck, face, and jaw. Your expertise and extensive knowledge in oral and maxillofacial surgery will be utilized to improve the overall health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

• Perform surgical procedures on the head, neck, face, and jaw including extractions, implants, and corrective surgeries.

• Diagnose and treat disorders and injuries of the oral and maxillofacial area including infections, cysts, and tumors.

• Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans.

• Collaborate with other medical professionals, including dentists, orthodontists, and physicians to provide comprehensive care.

• Utilize advanced technology and techniques to reduce pain and discomfort and improve recovery time.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and track progress.

• Educate and counsel patients on proper oral hygiene and post-surgery care.

• Participate in professional development activities to stay updated on the latest advancements in the field of oral maxillofacial surgery.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD) degree from an accredited university.

• Completion of a residency program in oral and maxillofacial surgery.

• Current license to practice oral maxillofacial surgery.

• Strong surgical skills and experience in a wide range of procedures.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
