The Oral Medicine position entails diagnosing and managing a range of oral health conditions. The successful candidate will conduct thorough patient evaluations, order and analyze diagnostic tests, and develop customized treatment plans. A strong commitment to patient care and an emphasis on ongoing education in oral medicine are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients’ oral and overall health
• Diagnose and treat complex oral diseases and conditions
• Order, interpret, and manage diagnostic procedures and laboratory results
• Collaborate with dental and medical professionals to provide holistic care
• Educate patients on treatment options, preventive measures, and oral health maintenance
• Maintain accurate patient records and follow up on treatment progress
• Engage in professional development activities to stay current with advancements in oral medicine

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from an accredited institution
• Completion of an Oral Medicine residency program
• Current and valid dental license in the relevant state
• Board certification in Oral Medicine is preferred but not mandatory
• Demonstrated experience in clinical practice, particularly in oral disease diagnosis and management
• Excellent communication abilities and a patient-focused approach
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
