Oral Medicine-Government Healthcare Facility

The Oral Medicine Specialist will be responsible for diagnosing, managing, and treating a variety of oral diseases and conditions within the facility. The role involves comprehensive patient assessments, diagnostic testing, and collaborative care planning with multidisciplinary teams. The position offers an opportunity to contribute to public health by delivering specialized oral healthcare in a government setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough oral examinations and evaluate patients' medical histories
• Diagnose and treat complex oral health conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as biopsies and imaging studies
• Develop tailored treatment plans and ensure patient follow-up
• Provide patient education on oral health maintenance and disease prevention
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated care
• Stay current with advancements in oral medicine and apply best practices

• Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) or Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS)
• Completion of an accredited residency or specialization program in Oral Medicine
• Valid dental license to practice in the relevant jurisdiction
• Experience working in public or government healthcare settings preferred
• Strong diagnostic and clinical skills in oral medicine
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
