JobDescription

• To be responsible forcashier’s house fund, and itssafekeeping.
• To ensure that a check is made andrecorded in the POS system for every food & beverage salein the outlet.
• To ensure that a check is madeand recorded in the POS system for any meals consumed by employees,or any service offered to guests as complimentary orentertainment.
• To enter opening and closingcheck no. used in his/her shift in the Night Auditors logbook, andensure that checks are used serially, and all the checks areaccounted for.
• To open a guest check in the POSsystem, punching orders, splitting and transferring tables,settling checks as cash, room charge, credit card or cityledger.
• To prepare cashier’s summaryand tally it with Micros (POS) reading at the close of hisshift.
• To printing and tally transaction listfrom credit card machines with physical check, and Microsreading.
• To prepare deposit envelope, write thedeposit amount in cashier’s deposit sheet and drop theenvelope in the Front Office safe depository, in the presence of awitness, who has also signed the witness column of thecashier’s deposit sheet.
• To promoteefficiency, confidence, courtesy and an extremely high standard ofsocial skills.
• To generally promote and ensuregood inter-departmental relations.
• To display apleasant manner and positive attitude at all times and to promote agood company image to guests and colleagues.
• Todemonstrate pride in the workplace and personal appearance at alltimes when representing the hotel thus identifying a high level ofcommitment.
• To adhere to Company and Hotelrules and regulations at all times.
  

Qualifications

Yourexperience and skills include:

• Minimum 2 years' of relevantexperience.
• Excellent communication skills,both written and verbal required.
• Be committedto exceeding guest expectations
• 4-5 stars hotelexperience is preferred.
• Bachelor'sdegree is preferred.
