Packing Operator 3rd Shift

• Total operation of manual,semiautomatic and automatic packaging lines and powder pressesincluding quality control, material procurement, line set up andadjustment of product within specifications, light preventativemaintenance and communications as required to operate theline.
• When required, trains Packagingemployees, observes work being performed to ensure that properprocedures are followed, cosigns pertinent records and maintains asmooth flow of production in the workarea.
• Assists other packaging employees asneeded or required.
• Assists in operation of thedepartment with particular care toward GMP’ssanitization, quality control, safety, housekeeping, productioncontrol and L’Oréal operatingprocedures.
• May be required to attend trainingprograms necessary to maintain the high standard ofL’Oréal employees, whether in house or off thepremises.
• Continual cooperation with managementin the development and implementation of processes for improvement:e.g. quality, line and plant efficiency, housekeeping,etc.
• The changeover of a line, includingsanitization of parts, to establishGMPs.
• Responsible for movement, documentationand supply of incoming components and bulk to the packaging linesand finished product and materials from the lines to the stagingarea.
• Responsible for all production andinventory controls including; ordering the next scheduled job,recording of inventory, personnel, production and inventoryclose‑out transactions.
• Performs all duties ofa Packaging Operator.
• The ongoing upkeep of theline including housekeeping.
• Informssupervision of irregularities.
• Performs allother work relative to Packaging as directed.
  

RequiredQualifications

What We AreLooking For:

• Experienceand knowledge of specific production/processing areas, machinery,and product items is required.
• Ability to workwithin a team environment.
• Must wear all properPersonal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Must haveknowledge of and be capable of working with all products includingcurrent and promotional products.
• Must becapable of lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Must becapable doing repeated bending, lifting and standing for longhours.
• Must communicate effectively in theEnglish language (written and verbal).
• Must beable to work off shifts, includingovertime.
• High School education or GEDequivalency preferred.
