Why This Role Matters

As a Payroll Specialist (Middle East & South Africa) you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth execution of HR operational processes while maintaining a strong employee experience. You will be part of a regional HR operations setup supporting multiple countries, working closely with internal stakeholders and external service providers to deliver accurate, compliant, and timely HR services. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys operational ownership, working across functions and geographies, and contributing to both process excellence and employee experience.

What You’ll Do

  • Own end-to-end onboarding and pre-boarding processes, including visa coordination, documentation, equipment setup, and workspace readiness
  • Manage immigration processes such as new employment visas, renewals, cancellations, and ongoing coordination with authorities and internal teams
  • Coordinate outsourced payroll processes across multiple countries by providing accurate inputs, validating payroll outputs, and managing end-to-end payment execution
  • Ensure compliance with local labor laws, immigration regulations, and internal policies across all countries in scope
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Procurement, payroll providers, and other cross-functional stakeholders
  • Support inpatriation management activities, including housing, mobility-related services, and vendor coordination
  • Handle HR administration processes such as contracts, insurance renewals, system updates, and HR data management

What You’ll Bring

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in HR Operations, Payroll, or related HR functional roles
  • Hands-on experience working with outsourced payroll providers, including payroll validation and controls
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple operational processes simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in a multi-country environment
  • Experience supporting HR operations across multiple countries or regions
  • Familiarity with immigration processes, Freezone authorities, or similar regulatory environments
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday, SAP, or similar platforms
