Pediatric ER

SearchPlus HR is looking for a dedicated Pediatric ER physician to join our outstanding team. In this vital role, you will provide immediate and comprehensive emergency care to children with various acute conditions and injuries. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in delivering high-quality healthcare in a fast-paced environment focused on the well-being of young patients and their families.

Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess, triage, and provide care for pediatric patients in the emergency department.
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of pediatric emergencies, including trauma, infections, and respiratory issues.
• Stabilize critically ill patients and perform urgent medical procedures as needed.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with patients' families about treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Accurately document all patient encounters and care provided in the electronic medical record system.
• Participate in ongoing training, teamwork, and quality improvement initiatives.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Valid medical license to practice in the applicable state.
• Experience in a pediatric emergency department is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Outstanding communication skills, especially with children and their families.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and high-stress environment.
• Commitment to professional growth and continuous learning in pediatric care.
• Proficient in using electronic health records and other medical technologies.
