Pediatric ER-Government Healthcare Facility

Key Responsibilities:

• Rapidly assess and triage pediatric patients presenting to the emergency department.
• Diagnose and manage a diverse range of medical emergencies and injuries in children.
• Stabilize critically ill patients and perform necessary emergency procedures.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
• Engage effectively with patients’ families, providing clear communication about treatment plans and medical conditions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all patient encounters and medical interventions in the electronic health record system.
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and participate in ongoing training and education.

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school with specialization in Pediatrics.
• Completion of a Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatrics or Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Active medical license to practice in the relevant state or region.
• Experience in a pediatric emergency setting is highly desirable.
• Exceptional clinical skills and ability to make prompt, informed decisions.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, especially with children and families.
• Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, often high-stress environment.
• Dedication to ongoing professional development and education in pediatric emergency care.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and government healthcare protocols.
