We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Medical and Surgical Ward Nurse to join a reputable healthcare organization in Dubai. The nurse will be responsible for providing high\-quality nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents who are admitted for medical treatment or recovering from surgical procedures. The ideal candidate should have strong pediatric nursing experience and the ability to deliver safe, patient\-centered care in a hospital ward environment.
Provide direct nursing care to pediatric patients in the medical and surgical ward.
Monitor and assess patientsâ vital signs, symptoms, and overall condition, and report any changes promptly.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Assist in pre\-operative and post\-operative care of pediatric patients.
Support children with daily activities, comfort measures, and recovery needs.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and clinical progress.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement care plans.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, patient safety standards, and hospital policies.
Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding treatment and recovery.
Maintain a safe, clean, and child\-friendly care environment.
Bachelorâs Degree in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Pediatric Medical and Surgical Ward in a hospital setting.
Valid nursing license from home country.
Eligibility for nursing license in Dubai (DHA eligibility, license, or willingness to obtain).
Strong knowledge of pediatric nursing care and clinical procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast\-paced healthcare environment.
Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
Experience in accredited or tertiary care hospitals is an advantage.
