Pediatric Surgeon Consultant

Responsibilities

• Perform specialized surgical procedures for pediatric patients with various surgical needs.
• Evaluate and diagnose children with surgical conditions, developing individualized treatment plans.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate and optimize patient care.
• Participate in surgical rounds and provide guidance to medical staff and residents.
• Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives focused on pediatric surgical care.
• Educate patients and families about surgical procedures and post-operative care.
• Stay updated on advancements in pediatric surgery and incorporate best practices into clinical settings.

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of a Pediatric Surgery fellowship.
• Board certification in Pediatric Surgery required.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric surgical practice.
• Expertise in a wide range of pediatric surgical techniques and procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with children and families.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, pediatric healthcare environment.
