Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Consultant to join our innovative healthcare team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with disabilities or functional impairments due to injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic conditions. Core Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients to establish their rehabilitation needs and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based practices in rehabilitation.
• Monitor patient progress closely and make necessary adjustments to treatment as required.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physical therapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Educate patients and families on rehabilitation processes, recovery techniques, and self-management strategies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities to remain current in the field of physical medicine and rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and records.
• Engage in clinical research initiatives or quality improvement projects as deemed appropriate.

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is mandatory.
• Active and unrestricted medical license to practice in the relevant state.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the field, particularly in rehabilitation medicine.
• Strong understanding of various rehabilitation therapies and techniques.
• Outstanding communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
• Dedication to patient-centered care and continuous improvement.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in any additional languages is beneficial.
